How to Create a Google Listing:
Step 1: Open Google My Business in your browser
Step 2: In the top right-hand corner click sign in and sign in with your Google Account
Step 3: Enter the name of your business, click Next
Step 4: Select if you want your business to show up on maps (this is how customers will find you)
Step 5: Enter the business category (Shopping, Restaurant, Auto Shop, etc.)
Step 6: Enter Phone Number
Step 7: Finish
How to Claim a Google Listing That Has Already Been Claimed:
Step 1: Open Google My Business in your browser
Step 2: In the top right-hand corner click sign in and sign in with your Google Account
Step 3: Enter the name of your business, click Next. A page may pop up that says “This listing has already been claimed.”
Step 4: Click Request Access and fill out the form.
Step 5: Submit that request. Google will send the current listing owner an email saying that you are requesting access and the owner can grant access.
